Adjunct Faculty in Biological Psychology

The School of Arts and Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses in Biological Psychology on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Fall 2019 semester. This undergraduate course presents an introduction to behavioral neuroscience and explores the physiological bases of human behavior. With an emphasis on the brain and neural communication, it covers the basic neurological processes that underlie various human behaviors, including sensation and perception, learning and memory, hormonal control of sexual development, psychopharmacology, and psychological/neurological disorders.




A master’s degree, ABD (or the equivalent) in psychology.

A minimum of one year of experience teaching Biological Psychology or similar courses at the college level.



Experience teaching students with an academic focus in the health sciences.

Use of learner-centered and active teaching strategies
