Associate professorship in Social and Personality Psychology 925241
The position is a permanent position with research and teaching obligations within the subject area of social and personality psychology. The successful candidate is expected, based on professional competencies within social and personality psychology, to contribute to research and teaching in human behaviour, interaction and influence in group and organizational contexts. The successful candidate is expected to participate on a regular basis in the department’s day-to-day activities (such as seminars, courses, workshops, etc.), to contribute to the development of the department’s study and learning environment as well as to supervise students.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to participate in the department’s organizational and administrative tasks.
As the successful candidate is expected to participate in all of the department’s main activities, including examination and administration, a non-Danish speaking candidate is required to acquire the necessary skills within a short period (maximum 2 years).
Who we are
At the department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, we teach and conduct research into the most significant subject areas of psychology. The department employs around 45 academic staff members and 45–50 PhD students. Our researchers have a strong tradition for collaborating with Danish as well as international researchers from many different academic fields, such as health and psychiatry,education, pedagogic, linguistics, philosophy, religious studies, management, economics and neuroscience. We also increasingly focus on expanding our research and teaching to include subject areas such as orgizational development, management and human relations.
