Post Doctoral Fellow (Trainee)
Job Summary: Northwestern University has an opening for one postdoctoral position in the Laboratory of Translational Neurobiology at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Feinberg School of Medicine. The research in our laboratory is aimed at understating the mechanisms underlying the interactions between genetic, epigenetic, and environmental influences on neuropathgenesis of Alzheimer’s disease and the mechanisms of behavioral and psychological symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease. Our research approaches include behavioral paradigms of learning and memory, genetic approaches (i.e. transgenic models and viral-vector mediated gene transfer), and biochemical techniques (i.e. RNA-seq, proteomic analyses).
