The project, funded by the European Research Council: Learning-based Learning for Kindergarten Children at Home (Learning4Kids), explores the possibilities that digital learning programs offer to improve the quality of the family learning environment of kindergarteners and target children's language and language learning to support mathematical competence development. One of the main goals of the longitudinal intervention project is to identify meaningful learning apps for tablets and, in some cases, to redevelop them and then make them available to socially disadvantaged families in particular.

 

Your task will be to focus on supporting project management (in terms of coordination, planning, preparation and implementation of the study). You should also prepare and evaluate the project's research data and publish the results. Furthermore, you are required in the selection and creation of the learning apps (coordination with external experts and active participation). In addition, you are expected to apply for new applications and be prepared to participate in teaching. The position is expressly suitable for habilitation.

, successfully completed doctorate in psychology (or a related subject such as empirical educational research),
• relevant research and publication experience in at least one of the following research areas: family learning environment, mathematical and literacy competence development of kindergarten children, learning with media, family intervention studies
• very good methodical knowledge in at least one of the following statistical programs: R, M-Plus, HLM
• good command of English, the ability to work in a team and to work independently as well as excellent communication and organizational skills
