At Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at Aarhus University, a 2-year postdoc position is vacant from May 1, 2019 or soon after.


The position will be among other things linked to a project on young people and intoxication and to projects on young people, drugs and sex work.


Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research (CRF) is an interdisciplinary social science research center.


Qualification requirements

The successful candidate holds a PhD within a social science discipline, such as anthropology, economy, political science, psychology or sociology, and has research experience within social science drug and alcohol research.

Who we are

At the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research we carry out social-science research in the alcohol and drug field. Our research projects concerns the treatment, prevention, policy and recreational consumption. We conduct research in both legal and illegal drugs. The Centre is interdisciplinary and the employees are based on, among other things, anthropology, psychology, sociology, law and public health. Our task is to establish and conduct research projects, teach, communicate knowledge about alcohol and drug abuse, and collaboration with national players in the area as well as international research institutions. Terms of employment
The appointment is in accordance with the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Danish Universities as well as the circular on the Collective Agreement for Academics Employed by the State.
