The Yale University School of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position that will carry an academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychiatry.

This position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry requires a PhD in Neuroimaging, Psychology, or Biomedical Engineering. This position involves conducting research that advances understanding and treatment of psychiatric symptoms through multimodal imaging, with a focus on PET imaging. Responsibilities include designing novel studies, oversight of regulatory approvals for conducting human subjects research, recruitment and imaging of participants, analysis of multimodal imaging data (namely, PET and MRI), applying for funding for ongoing research, presenting data at conferences and publishing findings. In addition, this position requires teaching and supervision of postdoctoral and postgraduate trainees as well as research assistants.
