Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Tenure Track Assistant Professor (Ph.D.)/Instructor (Masters) teaching master’s level courses on the MSBS: Counseling Track, undergraduate and other master’s level courses, and one section of General Psychology each semester. Some online teaching is likely.  The position requires scholarship and service including advising all students on the MSBS: Counseling Track, overseeing the curriculum for the track, and supervising practicum student supervisors at the Cameron Psychology Clinic two days each week in addition to excellent teaching for retention, promotion, and tenure. Each faculty member teaches 12 hours per semester. Availability August 2019.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: LPC, LPC Supervisor in the state of Oklahoma, Master’s degree in Psychology or Counseling with documented intention to obtain a terminal degree, experience supervising practicum students, and demonstrated teaching excellence.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preference will be given to candidates who have a terminal degree, demonstrated excellence in teaching, experience with online instruction, and supervising practicum students and have clear “Professional Identity” as an LPC.


SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience.
