Position Title:Tenure Track Position in Child Clinical Psychology Faculty:Arts, Psychology Posted:August 26, 2025 Deadline to Apply:Friday, October 3, 2025 Position Description:Located in downtown Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city in Canada and on the territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and the Wendat Peoples, the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) invites applications for a tenure track position in Child Clinical Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor effective July 1, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval. We are especially interested in applicants who are eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and who have interest in supervision of graduate students in our training clinic (child and/or adult). The successful candidate will engage in a combination of teaching, scholarly research or creative activity, and service duties while maintaining an inclusive, equitable, and collegial work environment across all activities. Teaching-related duties will include instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervision of students, and/or curriculum development. The successful candidate will pursue a strong, innovative research program or creative activity that is externally funded and that produces cutting-edge, high-quality results. Compensation:This position falls under the jurisdiction of the Toronto Metropolitan Faculty Association (TFA). The minimum salary for the Assistant Professor rank is $103,916.30 per annum.
