Position Overview
*This position works with the University President to facilitate coordination between Marquette University faculty/staff and the Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee (SWIM) initiative activities.
*In conjunction with members of the Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences, this position will develop a community-based clinic within the Department’s Psychology Clinic.
*In consultation with the Dean of the Graduate School, this position will develop a plan for establishing a faculty practice plan.


Duties and Responsibilities
(a) Aligning Marquette personnel and resources to support the work of the SWIM Action Teams, (b) supporting the development of key SWIM partnerships with NATAL, the Children’s Health Fund, and other similar organizations, © coordinating the SWIM Conference planning efforts at Marquette with SDC, (d) facilitating the launch of the Mobile Healing Clinic, and © supporting other important SWIM efforts as they arise (i.e. Proposal preparation to potential funders). These coordination duties are to account for 50% of overall effort.
Through volunteer clinical and/or counseling psychology graduate students, whom position supervises, develop psychological treatment services for victims of trauma in the Milwaukee community. These clinical duties will absorb 35% of overall effort.
Develop, in consultation with the Dean of the Graduate School, a plan for establishing a faculty practice plan that could be used to leverage our clinics, location, and faculty expertise in mental health. This duty will absorb 15% of overall effort.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
PhD in Clinical Psychology preferred
