Salary :£27511 to £30046 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.


Applications are invited for the post of Follow-Up Coordinator, within Stroke, Division of Neuroscience. You will be based at the Clinical Sciences Building, Nottingham University Hospitals, City Campus and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating multi-centre UK and international stroke trials.

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as using your own initiative. You will be responsible for follow-up visits, postal questionnaires and telephone calls and for liaising with GP’s and hospital sites as part of the follow up process. You will also be required to conduct audit and data checking of clinical trial paperwork to authorise trial payments.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a degree, or equivalent, in psychology or a relevant healthcare profession, or current registration with the NMC. You should also have experience of working in clinical trials, experience of completing assessments with patients and an ability to work out of hours. Travel within the UK and internationally may be required as you may be asked to go to a conference to promote a trial.

This is a full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed-term post until 30th September 2023. Job share arrangements may be considered.
