The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) seeks a full-time clinician (PhD) with experience and expertise in clinical research and education. The instructor will lead a feasibility study of community interest into research examining the neurological healing benefits of music and how that might be comprehensively measured with participation from diverse participants. The feasibility study is expected to lead to future independent funding. The instructor will also serve as an educator, supporting the required Medical Student Neurology Clerkship (overseeing communications with medical students, supervising lectures, updating course materials, manuals, checking grades) and organizing an annual Research Participant Appreciation Day (programming, invitation, venue, evaluation).
The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000.
