Summary Description

The Department of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a motivated research scientist for an instructor position for its Center for Translational and Computational Neuroimmunology (CTCN).

The successful candidate will investigate genetic susceptibility and immune cells function in neurological using human samples and identify new targets contributing to the neurodegeneration. Studies will use a wide range of techniques including immunostaining and primary human cell culture.

 

 

Minimum Degree Required

Ph.D and/or M.D.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate should have experience in immunostaining techniques as well as in cell culture and general molecular and cellular biology techniques (qPCR, Western Blot).

A good skill of communication and teamwork as well as the ability to supervising and teaching students and fellows are mandatory for this position.
