Lecturer in School of Psychology based at Unihealth Playford

We are seeking a Lecturer to act as a placement supervisor and be responsible for the supervision and management of student placements to meet Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accreditation requirements. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, delivery and management of specialist psychological services to clients at Unihealth Playford by University Psychology students.

The School of Psychology has strengths in teaching and research in cognitive psychology, health and clinical psychology, social and organisational psychology and human factors.  We embrace multiple methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, experimental and mixed methods.  Our teaching includes face to face and online offerings.

To be successful you will need:

  • A Masters Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registeration as a Psychologist with Endorsement in Clinical or Health Psychology and as a supervisor with AHPRA.
  • Familiarity with APAC accreditation standards for psychology placements.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high quality psychological reports and case notes.
  • Extensive experience as a practising psychologist including experience working with children and adults.
