Position Summary
The Department of Psychology seeks a Visiting Lecturer in Psychology, for the 2023-2024 AY. The successful candidate will teach general psychology. There may also be opportunities to teach courses on lifespan development, abnormal psychology, drugs and the nervous system, behavioral neuroscience, and/or other courses in their area of expertise. Responsibilities will include teaching four courses per semester, as well as engaging in active service to the department and to the university. A master’s degree or higher in psychology or a closely related field, such as counseling, is required. Basic Qualifications
Candidate transcripts should include at least 18 graduate credit hours of psychology courses, or courses that can be shown to have significant content coverage of psychology. In addition, face­-to-face teaching experience at the college level, and interest and/or experience in developing and teaching online courses, are preferred.
