Position Description

The Division of Social, Behavioral and Human Sciences (SBHS) within the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (SIAS) at the University of Washington (UW) Tacoma projects the need for instruction in introductory psychology, research methods in psychology, clinical psychology, and cognitive psychology during the Spring 2024 quarter. We invite applications for Part-Time Lecturers Temporary from individuals with expertise and/or teaching experience in one or more of these areas. These are part-time positions with quarterly (3-month) service periods that begin on March 16.

The base salary range for this position will be $5250 per quarter per 5-credit course commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Qualifications

This position requires an earned master’s or PhD (or foreign equivalent) degree in a related field at the time of appointment. Priority will be given to candidates with previous experience teaching at higher ed institutions.
