We seek a proven researcher to contribute to our interdisciplinary impact-focused research. You will have research and teaching expertise in the foundational disciplines of Psychology, Developmental and Educational Neuroscience, Experimental Social Psychology, Social or Educational Psychology, and be a member (or be eligible for membership) of the British Psychological Society.

You will have teaching experience across a range of undergraduate programmes, and will contribute to our BA Education, Culture and Childhood degree, and to teaching, leadership and expansion of our MSc Psychology and Education (Conversion), and MA Programmes www.sheffield.ac.uk/education . You will be able to teach research methods across our BA, MSc and MA programmes, and will contribute to our EdD and PhD programmes. You will have experience of, or interest in, using Digital Technologies in teaching in ways that help develop the digital literacies of students.


You will have a good honours degree in the disciplines of Psychology, Developmental and Educational Neuroscience, Experimental Social Psychology, Social or Educational Psychology, and be a member (or be eligible for membership) of the British Psychological Society with a Doctorate in Psychology, or Educational Psychology or a relevant subject area or equivalent qualifications/experience

You must have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the University and with external partners and organisations. You will engage with Faculty-wide initiatives and research activities in our interdisciplinary centres such as iHuman http://ihuman.group.shef.ac.uk/, the Sheffield Institute for International Development http://siid.group.shef.ac.uk/about/ and the ESRC-funded, cross-university Centre for Global Higher Education http://www.researchcghe.org/about/.
