The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the academic team in the School of Psychological Sciences.

The Lecturer position will contribute to the development of a new course in the domain of mental health, including teaching in psychology in areas of research design and methodology as well as contribute to a world-class program of research in the Turner Institute with a focus on Brain and Mental Health.

The Senior Lecturer will mentor a high performing research group as well as lead the development of a new course in the domain of mental health, including teaching in psychology in areas including research design and methodology.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification in Psychology or Cognate Discipline
  • Sustained track record of peer-reviewed (competitive) grants, and publications in world-class journals as lead author, preferably aligned with one of School's integrated research programs
  • Successful track record of high-quality teaching and education innovation

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
