The Computational Mechanisms of Psychopathology Lab (COMP Lab; PI: Vanessa Brown, PhD) is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to join the lab. The lab investigates learning alterations in anxiety and related disorders using behavioral tasks (in-lab and remote), functional and structural imaging, computational modeling, and mechanistic interventions (brief psychotherapy, neuromodulation). The postdoctoral fellow will support research funded by a new NIH R01 on predictive and generative modeling of threat imminence to understand and manipulate avoidance behavior in anxiety.
