A number of postdoctoral or more senior research positions in computational neuroanatomy are available in the laboratory of Sebastian Seung at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. The postdoctoral researchers will analyze multimodal and multiscale brain images from light and/or electron microscopy. Analysis tools will include image stitching and registration, 3D reconstruction and object detection by convolutional networks, brain atlasing, and social computing. The researchers will use anatomical and molecular information to elucidate mechanisms of brain function. Application domains may include retina, olfactory cortex, and neocortex.
