Recruitment PeriodOpen December 8th, 2020 through Friday, Jan 29, 2021 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) DescriptionThe UCLA Treatment and Research for the Underserved with Stress and Trauma (TRUST) Lab directed by Lauren Ng, PhD (https://nglab.psych.ucla.edu) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar with clinical and research experience with adolescents with PTSD. The TRUST lab, under the direction of Dr. Lauren Ng, uses research to improve access to, and quality of, care for diverse, low-resource, and underserved populations affected by traumatic and stressful events. The postdoctoral scholar’s primary responsibilities are to assist with overseeing research on the implementation and effectiveness of PTSD treatments for adolescents identified through the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (LAC DHS) pediatric clinics. Postdoctoral scholars will conduct research, provide and supervise therapy, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Ng is committed to fostering the postdoctoral scholar’s research independence through first-authored manuscript writing and grant preparation. Postdoctoral scholars will be able to accrue clinical hours towards licensure. Opportunities to assist on other projects in the TRUST lab will also be available.
