Adjunct Position in Psychology York County Community College, Department of Psychology
York County Community College's Social Science department is currently accepting resumes for adjunct instructors for day and/or evening availability at the Wells Campus and Online courses. These are non-benefited positions with teaching assignments on a course-by-course, semester-to-semester basis. Instructors are needed in the following areas: Introduction to Psychology (PSY 101) - This course is an introduction to the study of human behavior and its application to everyday situations. Introduction to Sociology (SOC 101) - This course analyzes the social and cultural forces, which govern human behavior. Psychology of Aging (PSY 212) - This course will provide an overview of the major theories, issues and research in the scientific study of aging. Sociology of Aging (SOC 212) - This course will provide an overview of human aging in a broad socio-cultural context. Introduction to Human Services (HUS 101) - This course explores multiple aspects of human services including the history, models of service delivery, diverse populations, helping skills, and ethical considerations. Abnormal Psychology (PSY 230) - This course considers the major diagnostic, etiologic, and treatment issues for a variety of categories of abnormal behavior and psychological disorders.
