Read more at www.iei.liu.se LINKÖPING UNIVERSITY Postdoc in behavioral- and neuroeconomics formally based at the Department of Management and Engineering. DutiesA Postdoc will essentially carry out research. The position may also involve teaching, but for no more than a fifth of working hours. The position is part of the Judgement, Emotion, Decision, and Intuition Lab (JEDI Labhttp://jedilab.weebly.com) at the division of economics at IEI. The JEDI Lab currently comprises researchers with backgrounds in economics, psychology, and neuroscience. We primarily investigate the role of intuition, reflection, and emotion in economic decision-making. Our research also concerns prosocial and moral decision-making. We use a combination of experimental research methods from behavioral economics and neuroscience. One of the postdoctoral positions will be funded by a research grant from Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation. Project: Homo Heuristicus – Exploring the Neuropsychological Underpinnings of Intuitive and Reflective Decision-Making. The other postdoctoral position will be partly funded by a research grant from Ragnar Söderberg Foundation. Project: Deciding Fast and Slow – How Intuitive and Reflective Thinking Influence Economic Decision-Making. QualificationsThe position requires a doctorate or an equivalent degree from a foreign university. The doctorate shall have been obtained no longer than three years before the expiration date of the application. The successful candidate should have documented experience with behavioral experiments. Documented experience with fMRI is advantageous. Documented ability to publish in scientific journals is also advantageous. Appointment timeA Postdoc is appointed until further notice, but for no longer than two years. The appointment can be renewed if there are special reasons. Starting dateBy agreement.
