Clinical Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry King's College London, Department of Psychology

We invite applications to the post of Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. This locally funded post offers a combined academic and clinical specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry in a strongly research-orientated environment for individuals planning a clinical academic career. The academic training emphasises the development of the post holder’s research interests and skills. There is a wide range of research and supervision opportunities and strong links with other departments at the IoPPN. Clinical training (not more than half the post holder’s time) involves working in a range of higher specialist training posts in the South London and Maudsley/South Thames Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Higher Training Scheme.

This post is only open to trainees who have completed MRCPsych (or equivalent) and would be eligible for higher training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Applicants should have a demonstrated early track record in research.

All applicants should be eligible for or already enrolled in higher training at ST4 level. An Academic National Training Number (NTN(A)) is available for this placement if required.
