DescriptionThe “Neuroglial Interactions in Cerebral Physiopathology” laboratory invites applications for a PhD position at Collège de France, a top international institution with a long tradition of excellence in research. The strong scientific environment and equipment resources at Collège de France make this a unique opportunity for an outstanding scientist.
The position is open to students with a master in neuroscience. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong interest in neuroglial interactions, electrophysiology and imaging. She/he will join a multidisciplinary group using electrophysiology, imaging, molecular biology, biochemistry, cellular biology and mathematical modeling to study the role of neuroglial interactions in the healthy and epileptic brain. The position is funded by a Marie Slodowska Curie Innovative Training Networks which involves 12 European research groups working on neuroglial interactions. The host laboratory, located in the center of Paris, is expert in the field of neuroglial interactions and is involved in collaboration with partner institutions from the European network.
