Assistant or Associate Professor Department of Psychology Expertise in Clinical Neuropsychology The Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati (UC) seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor with tenure in clinical neuropsychology who will contribute to the department's research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and service missions. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology with specialized postdoctoral training (or the equivalent) in adult or pediatric clinical neuropsychology and be license-eligible as a psychologist in Ohio. The ideal applicant will have an established publication record and ability to secure external funding in a programmatic area of research. The successful candidate will be expected to develop collaborative research ties with one or more units at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine or other local hospitals, such as Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. We are particularly interested in candidates who could collaborate with medical center research or clinical teams in one of the following areas: addiction science, affective disorders, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or pediatric clinical neuropsychology, although we are willing to consider other areas of study. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, provide clinical and research supervision, and make service contributions to the department, the university, and the profession. To be eligible to be hired at the Associate level, there must be evidence of strong leadership potential within the program. Qualified applicants will be evaluated on (a) their training and experience in clinical neuropsychology, (b) their programs of research, (c) their previous clinical research collaborations and potential for developing new ones in the area, and (d) their teaching excellence.
