Assistant Director of Addiction Psychology Program William James College
William James College is seeking a full time faculty member to serve as the Assistant Director of the Addiction Psychology program. The Assistant Director will spend half of their professional time in conducting research and in administration of the program, and half their time with the faculty duties of teaching, advising and supervising research as well as building opportunities for training, consulting and doing research in the community. The program provides coursework, field site training and research opportunities to students in all four of the college's academic departments.
Qualifications Candidates must hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology and be licensed or licensed eligible in Massachusetts. The candidate must have at least five years' experience in higher education as a researcher and teacher and five years' experience as a clinician working in the addictions field. Candidates with evidence of scholarly contributions through peer-reviewed publications, presentations at national and international conferences and a successful track record of grant-funded research are particularly desirable. Experience with historically under served communities and with community based research are another strength to present to the search committee.
