Postdoctoral Position in France Inserm UMR

Description A 3-year post-doctoral position is available in Inserm U1118, Strasbourg, France under the supervision of Dr Luc DUPUIS. The successful candidate will investigate the relationships between TAU, FUS and TDP-43 in the development of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and fronto-temporal dementia, two related neurodegenerative diseases currently untractable. This will be done by combining mouse genetics and behaviour with molecular biology techniques based on next generation sequencing and pathological studies in patient tissues. An experience in NGS techniques such as RNAseq and/or CLIPseq will be highly appreciated. The position is secured for 3 years, and funded by the ANR.
