Job Description: The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, part of the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the cognitive neuropsychology area. The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with faculty and students in the psychology program, as well as in programs such as sociology, biology, and interactive media and game design. Candidates should show promise of teaching excellence and ability to develop a significant research program. The typical annual teaching load is three courses per semester, with course reductions available for tenure-track faculty starting research programs. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service including advising and collegial participation in the life of the University. Other reasonable duties as assigned. Requirements: A Ph.D. in Psychology earned by the date of appointment from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization.
