Postdoctoral Position in Neuroscience University of Strasbourg

Description Funding is available for a postdoctoral position in the Research Unit INSERM U1119 "Biopathology of Myelin, Neuroprotection and Therapeutic Strategies, University of Strasbourg, France (http://www.u1119.inserm.fr)". We are urgently seeking for a candidate having a strong expertise in behavioral, histological and biochemical analyses. The successful candidate will be in charge of a project using a multidisciplinary approach to investigate the neuroprotective effects of novel drugs in experimental models of peripheral neuropathies. The contract is for 1 year. The salary is the same as for a young permanent researcher at INSERM or CNRS (Chargé de Recherche, CR2). Depending on the CV and motivation of the selected candidate, he/she can also be supported by the Research Unit for applications to permanent research position at INSERM and CNRS.
