Description
Yale-NUS College, a collaboration between the National University of Singapore and Yale University, seeks to appoint an accomplished scholar to assume a senior role in the Psychology program. Applicants should be internationally recognised scholars with an active research profile and a commitment to creative and effective undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Applicants may have a specialisation in any relevant area of Psychology.
The successful candidate would play a lead role in the continuing development and teaching of the Psychology Major and the Yale-NUS Common Curriculum (see http://www.yale-nus.edu.sg/curriculum/common-curriculum). They would also maintain an active research profile in their specialist area. As Head of Studies they would shape the vision for the Psychology Major, lead curriculum development and coordination, recruit and mentor faculty, and uphold standards for promotion and tenure.
The position will be a tenured appointment in Psychology, which sits within the Division of Social Sciences. The appointee will be expected to begin their duties in time for the start of the 2017-2018 academic year. Salary, benefits, and leave policies will be competitive at an international level.
