Duties and Responsibilities

 

An opening exists for a Research Associate/Systematic Reviewer. The post holder will work on a number of projects, principally:

 

a) Development of guidelines for NICE
b) Lead on reviews and work with colleagues including information scientists, project managers and health economists. The post holder will work with colleagues based in the National Guideline Alliance (NGA).
c) A range of systematic reviews, including the following areas: mental health, women and children, cancer, and social care.

 

The post is funded for 12 months in the first instance.


Key Requirements

 

Applicants must have a postgraduate level qualification and must have detailed knowledge of systematic reviews and evidence synthesis. They must be able to work with multi-disciplinary committees and the ability to negotiate with a range of different professional groups.
