Academic Vacancies in Faculty of Psychology, Beijing Normal University
The Faculty of Psychology at Beijing Normal University (BNU) (http://psych.bnu.edu.cn) is a leading psychology institution in China. It has collaboration and partnership with leading psychology institutions worldwide and major government agency in China. The Faculty provides world-leading research and teaching facilities. Currently the Faculty has 100 full-time faculty members, and it offers undergraduate, MSc, MAP and Ph.D. programs, with current enrollment of over 1,500 students.
The Faculty of Psychology at BNU conducts a worldwide recruiting campaign to strengthen its research capability. We are seeking outstanding applicants for teaching and research appointments in the fields of cognitive, social, developmental and educational, industrial and organizational, and health psychology.
Five Associate Professors Positions
Requirements: A PhD in psychology from a world-class university. The candidate should currently hold an associate professor position at a distinguished university or an equivalent position in a research institute abroad and be internationally preeminent.
Salary and Conditions of Service: The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary in a range of 400,000 RMB and 600,000 RMB, commensurate with qualifications, experience and contribution. The candidate will also be offered a start-up research fund of 500,000 RMB. Initial appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term contract.
Two Assistant professors Positions
Requirements: A PhD in psychology from a world-class university. The candidates should currently hold an assistant professor position at a distinguished university or an equivalent position in a research institute abroad with outstanding research work.
Salary and Conditions of Service: The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary in a range of 300,000 RMB and 500,000 RMB, commensurate with qualifications, experience and contribution. The candidate will also be offered a start-up research fund of 300,000 RBM. Initial appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term contract.
Three Postdoctoral Researcher Positions
Requirements: A PhD in psychology from a world-class university. Candidates should have an established record of research.
Salary and Conditions of Service: The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary in a range of 200,000 RMB and 300,000 RMB, commensurate with qualifications, experience and contribution. The candidate will also be offered a start-up research fund of 200,000 RBM. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract.
