Overview:
The successful candidate will assist in the running of investigator-led and commercial clinical studies in neuroscience and new investigator-led trials with an emphasis on drug repurposing. The postholder will perform research on subjects with multiple sclerosis and/or their tissues, and other demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system including studies using tissue of human donors and experimental animal systems. Research tools include neuropathology, magnetic resonance imaging and other techniques as required.
The post is full time for one year starting as soon as possible. Starting salary will be in the range of £31,614 – £36,321 per annum plus London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
