You will work on studies of visual perception and perceptual decision-making. Research methods include functional brain imaging (fMRI), mathematical and computational modelling, and other techniques. Work environment The Donders Institute in Nijmegen (Netherlands) is a friendly, collaborative research environment, and home to many outstanding researchers from all over the world. Facilities include several state-of-the-art research-dedicated 3T and 7T MRI scanners, an HPC cluster, and fully equipped behavioural labs. English is the lingua franca at the Donders Institute. What we expect from you You should have a PhD in a relevant field, and a record of published work related to the research areas of interest of Janneke Jehee’s lab. Strong computer programming (e.g. Matlab, Python) and data analysis skills are essential for this position. What we have to offer employment: 1.0 FTE; a maximum gross monthly salary of € 4,691 based on a 38-hour working week (salary scale 11); in addition to the salary: an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus; initial appointment will be for 2 years, with possible continuation based on performance; the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) of Dutch Universities will be applicable; you will be classified as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Onderzoeker), Level 3 in the Dutch university job-ranking system (UFO).
