Overview:
Acute injuries research is challenging. By its very nature trauma is unpredictable and comprises the study of patients presenting with life-threatening injuries that require immediate treatment by large specialist trauma teams. In response to expansion of our clinical trials portfolio, we are recruiting a Trauma Research Assistant who will integrate as part of an experienced research team based at The Royal London Hospital and the Blizard Institute (www.c4ts.qmul.ac.uk), supporting clinical research activities across a range of clinical trials.
The post holder will be based at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel under the supervision of the Clinical Trial Coordinator. This position would suit a candidate with a degree in a relevant subject, with experience of working within a research environment, performing accurate data collection & entry, and efficient document management. The post holder will be able to organize and prioritize their own work and will be required to engage effectively and appropriately with investigators and external partners internationally.
The post is full time until 30th June 2018 (starting as soon as possible). Starting salary will be in the range £32,405 - £38,062 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
