Application for Postdoctoral Research Associate


The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral or more senior research position from individuals with a recent PhD degree in Psychology or related disciplines with behavioral and policy relevance. The position is offered for one year, with the possibility of a second year appointment, contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance.



In addition to carrying out their own research, appointees often collaborate with one or more faculty members. Beyond research (along with some financial support), the appointee will be expected to lead discussion sections for a "psychology and policy" course, including the evaluation of written work by masters' students. Appointees may also, if mutually agreed, lead discussion sections for an undergraduate course given by the Psychology Department or the Woodrow Wilson School. Any teaching is contingent on sufficient enrollments and must be approved by the Dean of the Faculty.



A PhD degree in Psychology or related disciplines with behavioral and policy relevance is required. A background in behavioral decision research or social psychological research is a plus.
