Assistant Professor Position in Quantitative Psychology
The Department of Psychology at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Quantitative Psychology Clinical Assistant with Quantitative Psychology, September 1, 2019. The position may be in any area of theoretical or applied quantitative psychology. Applicants are expected to have a doctorate in quantitative psychology, psychometrics, or closely related fields at the time of appointment. Applicants should show evidence of research productivity and the potential for obtaining external funding, and a strong commitment to and aptitude for high quality teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants should be in electronic format to quant-search@psych.mcgill.ca : 1) curriculum vitae; 2) a statement of research interests; 3) a statement of teaching philosophy and experience, and evidence of teaching excellence (if available); 4) falling reprints or pre-prints; and 5) three confidential letters of recommendation.
If the successful candidate satisfies the specific eligibility conditions of the program, the candidate may be supported by the University for Appointment to a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Quantitative Psychology, which provides a full-time academic research time . Tier 2 Chairs are for emerging researchers (individuals who are no longer than 10 years of having earned their highest degree). However, career interruptions (eg maternity or parental leave, extended sick leave, clinical training, family care, etc.) may be taken into consideration. CRC appointments within the university are highly competitive.

Importantly, McGill is an English language institution; knowledge of French is not required but would be an asset.
