The candidate would take a leading role in teaching and leading administrative duties. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in Mental Health to teach on our Masters program. The post holders will: Contribute to the organisation, delivery of courses and the assessment of student achievement of the BSc programme. Engage in scholarship (i.e. pedagogical studies, development of industrial contacts, outreach). Oversee the delivery of the Masters program on the Psychology of Mental Health. Undertake administrative and other duties of academic staff. Applicants must have appropriate subject knowledge and have the ability to teach at any level within the area of expertise and across a range of subjects at a more introductory level. Candidates should have an excellent academic background with a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience. The School of Biological and Chemical Sciences is a large and expanding academic unit, which provides a supportive and friendly environment and encourages interdisciplinary research. The Department of Biological and Experimental Psychology was founded in 2008 and currently comprises 17 permanent academics.
