Lecturer/Senior Lectureship in PsychologyDepartment: School of Biological & Chemical Sciences Overview:We are seeking to appoint a candidate with experience of delivering high-quality teaching to our diverse undergraduate student body. The candidate would take a leading role in teaching and leading administrative duties. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in Mental Health to teach on our Masters program. Applicants must have appropriate subject knowledge and have the ability to teach at any level within the area of expertise and across a range of subjects at a more introductory level. Candidates should have an excellent academic background with a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience. The School of Biological and Chemical Sciences is a large and expanding academic unit, which provides a supportive and friendly environment and encourages interdisciplinary research. The Department of Biological and Experimental Psychology was founded in 2008 and currently comprises 17 permanent academics. We emphasise a modern interdisciplinary approach, at the interface between behavioural and biological aspects of psychology. The post is based on the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent with a start date of 1 February 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Lecturer salary is in Grade 5-6, in the range of £42,433 - £52,833 and the Senior Lecturer is in Grade 7, in the range of £55,840 - £62,415 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
