Duties and responsibilities You should have extensive experience with EEG including study set-up, data acquisition, data cleaning and pre-processing (for example a post-doc who has overseen extensive EEG experiments as part of their PhD). Additionally, you should have in depth technical knowledge of EEG equipment and be able to assist junior members of the team in running experiments. You should also have strong organisational and time management skills, as well as experience handling and managing large and complex datasets. Experience coding experiments and analysis scripts in MatLab, Python, or similar languages is a plus but not a requirement. Additional responsibilities include attending regular team meetings, assisting with general laboratory activities, undertaking necessary training and/or development activities, to be flexible, and help other team members with their studies / data collection, and to undertake appropriate administration tasks as directed by the line manager. Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as a Research Assistant within the salary range £36,045 - £39,183 per annum.
