The program is widely regarded as the leading producer of faculty in rehabilitation counseling programs in universities in the U.S. and in a number of other countries. Graduates have also gone on to become some of the most prominent researchers and scholars in the field and leaders within the profession. In addition, program faculty are involved in collaborations on research grants with other institutions and currently serve as principal and co-principal investigators on more than $20 million in external grants and contracts awarded to the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
