Lecturer / Tenure Track Assistant Lecturer for Health Psychology 80%
The Institute of Psychology of the University of Bern is looking to hire a Lecturer / Tenure Track Assistant Lecturer for Health Psychology as from 1 July 2022. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching and research in health psychology in their area of specialization, preferably stress and coping with illness, or methodological development.
Tasks
- Teach bachelor's and master's level courses (approx. three per semester) in health psychology
- Conduct independent research in health psychology, preferably in the area of stress and coping with illness, or methodological development
- Supervise theses at bachelor and master level, and potentially doctoral students
- Contribute to self-governance and administration
Your Profile
- PhD, preferably in health psychology or social psychology
- An aptitude for teaching and teaching experience
- Eminent expertise of health psychology (incl. active research and publications)
- Very good language skills in English
