Position Summary |
The Department of Psychology seeks a Visiting Lecturer in Psychology, for the 2023-2024 AY. The successful candidate will teach general psychology. There may also be opportunities to teach courses on lifespan development, abnormal psychology, drugs and the nervous system, behavioral neuroscience, and/or other courses in their area of expertise. Responsibilities will include teaching four courses per semester, as well as engaging in active service to the department and to the university. A master’s degree or higher in psychology or a closely related field, such as counseling, is required. Basic Qualifications |
Candidate transcripts should include at least 18 graduate credit hours of psychology courses, or courses that can be shown to have significant content coverage of psychology. In addition, face-to-face teaching experience at the college level, and interest and/or experience in developing and teaching online courses, are preferred.
