Salary
£30395 to £39609 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.


We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled researcher to work on an exciting new study that develops and evaluates cognitive screening pathway for people with multiple sclerosis (MS), and a neuropsychological rehabilitation programme for people with MS with mild to moderate cognitive problems.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the study, in conjunction with the programme coordinator, and data collection under the supervision of the Chief Investigator. In addition, the role-holder will contribute to the preparation of interim and final study reports and assist with dissemination of study results, including preparing manuscripts for publication and presenting the findings at academic and healthcare conferences.

 

Candidates must hold a PhD in Psychology or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience in the research area. Strong research skills (quantitative and qualitative) and experience of working with people with MS or other neurological conditions research are essential.

 

The post will be offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis until the 31 October 2021. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
