Research Fellow of Metabolic Neuroscience

The Research Assistant/Research Fellow will work within the Metabolic Neuroscience Laboratory and perform supervised research on projects related to the neuronal control of metabolism and its contribution to metabolic diseases such as type-2 diabetes and obesity. This work will have a strong focus on defining the neuronal circuitry underlying insulin resistance within the brain using in vivo calcium imaging, optogenetics and CRISPR/Cas-9 technologies. The Research Assistant role will provide support for research projects and programs within the laboratory, including administration and maintenance of mouse lines and information systems.
