Research Scientist in Learning Disabilities in Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Houston seeks to hire a Research Scientist to implement research procedures within a school district for a federally-funded grant project. UH is a Carnegie-Designated Tier One Public Research University.  The successful applicant will be asked to participate in intervention and assessment activities, coordinate with members of the research team and interact with school district research partners to further research goals.  Applicants should have full proficiency in English and Spanish. Experience delivering reading interventions in high poverty settings and administering bilingual psychoeducational assessments and a secondary teacher certification is preferred.  This position is for one year, beginning August 15, 2019, with the possibility of renewal.
