The research focus is on: Neurobiological mechanisms underlying affective disorders Biomarkers for diagnostic assessment Predicting treatment response and side effects Individualized psychiatric care The position provides an opportunity to develop an independent research program and to gain qualifications for promotion to Senior Lecturer. Duties Conduct research on psychiatry with a focus on neurobiological mechanisms Seek external funding for independent research Develop national and international research collaborations Teach undergraduate medical students and specialist trainees in psychiatry (in Swedish and English) Supervise degree projects and doctoral students Administrative duties related to research and teaching Participate in department collaboration and outreach activities Pedagogical training is expected within one year if not already completed. Swedish language proficiency (B2 level) is required for promotion.
