Remuneration: Pro-rata of $79,062 - $85,337 pa HEW Level 6 (plus 9.5% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity


The laboratory of Professor Julie Stout, in the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, specialises in research in cognitive neuroscience in Huntington's disease. The mission of the lab's research is to improve the lives of people affected by Huntington's and other neurodegenerative diseases by driving research projects that span the local and Australian communities, through to international clinical trials.


An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Officer to join the team. This position is needed to support the daily activities associated with several current and planned projects, including developing project proposals, managing timelines and resources, assisting in financial management, and creating and implementing processes that ensure the success of project goals.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in project management or a combination of relevant qualifications and experience, and a drive to make a positive difference in an exciting and dynamic academic environment.


This role is a part-time position, however scope exists to incorporate flexible working arrangements, and adjustments to the fraction of full time work across the duration of the role.
