Senior Research Associate – feasibility RCT of Quit Sense (60% FTE) • REF: RA1625

 

£33,199 to £39,609 per annum, pro rata

 

The School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate to work on a randomised controlled trial of an innovative smoking cessation app (Quit Sense) that delivers ‘context aware’ behavioural support in real time to help smokers wanting to quit to manage environmental cues to smoke.

 

The role will involve managing the trial and supporting project delivery, including set-up, recruitment and follow up, process evaluation, analysis, write up and dissemination.

 

You must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification, in Health Sciences, Psychology, Public Health or a related discipline.

 

Due to project specific funding, the post is available on a part-time (60% fte), fixed term basis from 1 June 2019, for a maximum of 24 months to end no later than 31 May 2021.
