General Description / Primary Purpose 

The Department of Psychology at the University of North Florida invites applications for a one-year Visiting position in Psychology (Position #311201) that will begin August 2019 for the 2019-20 academic year. Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology, although strong ABD candidates will be considered. Successful candidates must have a strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to psychology, research methods, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise, with special consideration given to candidates who could teach a lab-based experimental social psychology course. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester with some service expectations. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9 month contract.
